i spent last weekend in Pennsylvania with my college friends. i have wanted to write about it, to describe what it felt like to see these people but it is hard to put in words. i felt full. so deeply happy. it felt like home.
the wedding was at this beautiful farm on a hill, overlooking the Susquehana river. we had cigars and wine outside during the reception, caught up on our lives. danced for a few hours and then went back to the house we rented where the revelry continued. we just laughed so much.
on saturday aaron and his wife hannah hosted our motley crew for an all day bbq... this may have been my favorite part of the weekend. drinking coronas in the sun playing croquet, remembering old jokes and making new ones.
i am very grateful for these people, and to feel loved. it brought me back a little.
