today i wrote a short story and now am watching the patriots playoff game (we are loosing badly, distressing everyone as the barrage of text messages reveals).
the end of 2009 and this beginning of 2010 have been tumultuous and full of lessons i need to unravel.
one thing i know is that i have spent these 28 years learning and relearning some fundamentals about how to live this one wild life.
another thing i know in bones: it's very rare that something happens TO you that you did not invite.
